Community Garden Plans and Goals
What is a Native Garden?
Native plants, known to be here prior to European settlement, have evolved to exist in our climate, to co-exist with each other and with local birds, insects and other fauna. Once established, they need little watering. Many native plants are now endangered as their habitat has disappeared over the past four centuries.
